1. Account help
If you’re having trouble signing in, creating an account, or updating your profile, please email us with a brief description of the issue and any relevant screenshots. Include the email address associated with your WeStep account so we can help you faster.
2. Password reset
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and follow the instructions. A password reset email will be sent to the email address on file. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder. If it still doesn’t arrive, email support@updates.ezekielsung.com.
3. HealthKit and step data
WeStep reads daily step counts from Apple HealthKit. If your steps aren’t showing up:
- Open the iOS Settings app → Health → Data Access & Devices → WeStep and make sure Step access is enabled.
- Make sure your iPhone is recording steps (check the Apple Health app).
- Try closing and reopening WeStep.
You can revoke or change HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings or the Apple Health app.
4. Friends and leagues
You can add friends, accept friend requests, and join leagues from within WeStep. If you’re running into trouble with friend requests, league invites, or leaderboards, email us and we’ll take a look.
5. Notifications
WeStep can send push notifications for friend requests, reactions, messages, sync requests, and league updates. If you’re not receiving notifications:
- Open the iOS Settings app → Notifications → WeStep and confirm notifications are allowed.
- Check your in-app notification settings within WeStep.
6. Account deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app:
Open WeStep → Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
If you can’t access the app, email support@updates.ezekielsung.com from the email address associated with your account, and we’ll help process your deletion request.
